Welcome to our new lab members, postdoctoral fellow Chanpreet Kaur, PhD student Sabrina Pereira da Conceição, and MD/PhD student Bianca Palichi.

Dr. Chanpreet Kaur completed her PhD thesis at Loyola University where she received a prestigious American Heart Association Predoctoral Fellowship.

Sabrina Pereira da Conceição is a PhD student at Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) in the Department of Immunology under the mentorship of Dr. Cecilia Goncalves de Almeida.  As a recipient of the CAPES/BRASILLINOIS Fellowship, Sabrina will spend 9 months in the Lutz lab as a visiting student scholar.

Bianca Palichi is a student in the UIC Medical Scientist Training Program. She will join the lab in summer 2027.
